The sidewalk connector between Little Sugar Creek and Wesley Heights Greenways runs along Brooklyn Village Avenue, the edge of Uptown Charlotte. This 1.6-mile segment of the Carolina Thread Trail is suitable for walking and running. Wesley Heights Greenway is a connector to Irwin and Stewart Creek Greenways, allowing users to travers large distances across multiple trail corridors.
A number of Charlotte attractions are located along this segment of the Thread Trail. Some of the many attractions include the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Bechtler Museum of Modern Art, Mint Museum, Knight's Theater, the Harvey B. Gant Center for African- American Arts & Culture, and the Bank of America Stadium.

Those using the CATS Blue Line can get off at Brooklyn Village Avenue Station to get to the Uptown Charlotte Sidewalk. From the Brooklyn Village Avenue Station, it's a 0.74-mile walk to Little Sugar Creek Greenway.
