This segment of Carolina Thread Trail is approximately 1.8 miles long, partly constructed using volunteers! The trail is a blend of crushed gravel and natural surface and is ideal for walking, running, or biking.

Trail visitors will enjoy walking through a hardwood flood plain. Wildlife highlights include white-tailed deer, turkey, and a variety of waterfowl and songbirds.

An Imprint is an Impact. Please protect the trails. Don’t ride if the ground is muddy and be mindful when you hike in wet conditions.

The Nation Ford Greenway is a natural surface trail that traces the banks of Sugar Creek. Nearly 1.8 miles of the trail is designated as a segment of the Carolina Thread Trail. Trail visitors can also use this trail to connect to the 2-mile Springfield Trail for an extended walk in the woods.
