The Masons Bend Trail is a winding 1.9-mile natural surface trail running adjacent to the new Masons Bend community.   It connects directly into the Founders Trail and provides outstanding views of the Catawba River.  It also traverses the new Masons Bend development.  The trail corridor along the river has historical importance in the area.  The Catawba River has provided farming, hunting and fishing for the Native Americans and settlers who came later.  Years later a former quarry near present day Masons Bend was used for the stone that built the Lake Wylie Dam, just a few miles to the north.

Masons Bend Trial shares a trailhead parking area with Founders Trail.  Follow the river north to enjoy the Masons Bend Trail or south to experience the Founders Trail that will eventually lead you to Riverwalk and another four miles of Carolina Thread Trail.

I want to share with you my testimony of how I joined this great organization of illuminate, really I was so poor and my life was almost to die and I tried many times to join illuminati but all was in vain whereby I was facing fake people who were claiming to be agents of illuminati. They ate my money without helping me out there. I lost hope in illuminati. But because i was very interested and focused on my dream, I continued trying there I meant an agent called Mr Adams from South Africa Cape Town but currently in Nigeria who told me he will help me out still i didn’t trusted him at all because of the first pain i passed through, still also asked me to send him money there i get scared but with time he sent me my membership i'd card there i proved it and trust in him little and i accepted and send him money, but what amazed me is that immediately after sending him money, within the 24 hours the temple headquarter sends me 3 million dollars directly on my account as my first benefit there i trusted him more and he is the only agent i trust because he helped me seriously. So my friend, if you want to join I am going to help you and connect you to that agent but you must be serious. I don't have that authority of joining anyone who is serious. I will connect you to him. on WhatsApp +2349031111198 or email him (

Nice trail. Be aware of sharp turns where MTB and hikers can run into each other. I had to use my bell frequently to warn hikers that I was coming around the bend.

Thank you so much for reporting this. We are aware of the graffiti and have scheduled someone to come out and remove it. I will also let our trail team know that the trail could use some trimming.
