Description

Most of the trail is wooded and follows a former railroad right-of-way, Triple C Railway. The greenway is active with bikers and walkers enjoying the York Greenway, which begins at the York Recreation Complex. The York Recreation Complex has lighted ball fields, lighted walking trails, picnic shelters, playground and championship horseshoe courts.

The segment of the Thread Trail is also part of the York Bicycle Trail. Visit York County website has additional maps and routes to follow throughout York County.
