Description

This extension of the Roger F. Snyder Greenway in Albemarle, NC is paved and almost completely flat. Various neighborhood and pedestrian access points make this walking, running, and biking trail easily accessible. The Thread Trail segment is .8 miles, although the greenway network extends a little further.

The trail provides access to the Don B. Montgomery Memorial Park, which has a playground and baseball field. This segment is also considered a rail trail because of its proximity to old railroad tracks.
