Description

The Jacob Fork Park Trail is a small segment of the Carolina Thread Trail in Newton, NC that encircles the softball fields. Jacob Fork Park is a 100-acre park that has numerous trails and activities for hikers and mountain bikers including a pump track. The Newton-Conover Rotary Club donated the funds necessary to build a canoe launch for the Jacob Fork Park. It is just south of where Jacob Fork and Henry Fork River merge into the South Fork River.
