The Dye Creek Greenway at Bellingham Park provides loop opportunities around the park and access to adjacent neighborhoods. Of about 1.1 miles of paved trail at the park, the Thread Trail segment is 0.5 miles along the creek.

Description

The Dye Creek Greenway includes continuous paved loop around Bellingham Park in Mooresville, NC. The loop is almost 1 mile around, with about 500 feet of greenway extending south of it. The Thread Trail portion is a 0.5-mile segment along one side of the loop and beyond. This greenway is mostly shaded by mature trees on both sides, except for a few areas such as near the soccer fields. Several maps along the length of this greenway show a user's current location with distances between points of interest. The creek is visible in several locations.

Part of the Carolina Thread Trail at Bellingham Park is currently closed off for nearby construction, as of 02/26/2024. Info is current as of 03/07/2024. There are other paved walking paths to continue your walk, but part of the section near the creek is closed off temporarily.
