Road Walk Wisdom

Always walk facing the direction of oncoming traffic and wear bright clothing. Pay attention to oncoming traffic, and be prepared to give the right of way if necessary.

The Dye Creek Greenway forms a continuous loop around Bellingham Park in Mooresville, NC. The Thread Trail portion is a half mile that is part of this 1.3-mile loop. This greenway is mostly shaded by mature trees on both sides, except for a few areas such as near the soccer fields. Several maps along the length of this greenway show a user's current location with distances between points of interest. The creek is visible in several locations from this greenway.

Trail Tips

Ride Safe

When biking, wear a helmet and use a bell to signal your approach to other trail users. Consider bringing a spare tube and pump so that you can fix a flat tire and offer help to other cyclists in need. When riding on roads, bike in the same direction as traffic.
