The Limestone College Quarry Trail is a 0.4-mile natural surface trail. Visitors can enjoy walking or jogging this trail, which winds along Limestone College's athletic facility.
This segment of the Thread Trail skirts the campus of Limestone College. Founded in 1845, Limestone College was the first women's college in the state of South Carolina. Many buildings and sites on campus are listed on the National Register of Historic Places, including the quarry for which this trail is named.
