Description

The Carolina Thread Trail portion of the Heritage Greenway stretches 0.8 miles. There is an additional segment of trail, not part of The Thread, that is referred to as Phase II of the greenway. The Phase II portion adds an additional 0.7 miles of trail to the Thread Trail segment, creating a 1.5 miles of trail in total and connects trail users to the City of Newton. The Heritage Trail Greenway is relatively flat and provides a nice place to walk, run, or bike.
