Description

This segment of the Thread Trail winds along the bank of the South Fork River. The land for this trail was donated by Burlington. Walkers, runners, and bikers will enjoy exercising along a variety of surface types, including pavement, boardwalk, and community sidewalk. The trail ends at the Southern Railroad overpass where hikers can make the loop around a clearing and walk back to the trailhead.

Due to the proximity to the water, visitors may encounter wildlife such as wood ducks and beavers.
