Description

Following the banks of the Lyle Creek, this enhanced surface section of 1.6-mile Thread Trail is an excellent location for biking, hiking and natural wildlife viewing, especially bird watching. Between County Home Road and Northern Drive NW, the trail splits to form a loop about 1/8 mile long before coming back together and continuing. The Lyle Creek Greenway completes a 6.5-mile loop encircling the City of Conover. A true community effort, Tri-City Christian School and their cross country team have partnered with the City to both use the trail and to maintain it.

Other Information

This trail is "green"! The surface of this trail was partially produced using recycled concrete materials.
